2013’s decent reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise has been reissued for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles only this time Lara has got some really fancy hair and a whole bunch of DLC for the utterly pointless multiplayer mode. Don’t get us wrong, Tomb Raider is a really good videogame, but a £50+ reissue of the game with a bunch of extra content for a mode that no one cares about (and isn’t very good, either) doesn’t really make this ‘definitive’ edition worth forking out for if you’ve already played it, regardless of what you think of Miss Croft’s new hair. If you’ve never played it then yeah, absolutely check this out. It’s really close to being an essential action game, right up there with other modern greats like Uncharted and the Batman Arkham games. Steer clear of the multiplayer and enjoy this fun little ride.
